SIRE-campagne over taboe op psychisch ziek zijn blijkt succesvol |
De campagne die de stichting SIRE eind juni lanceerde om het taboe op psychisch ziek zijn aan de kaak te stellen, blijkt een succes geweest te zijn. De campagne attendeerde mensen op een hulplijn voor mensen zónder psychische ziekte. Uit de nameting van onderzoeksbureau Blauw Research blijkt dat maar liefst 76 procent van de Nederlanders de campagne heeft gezien. Van hen zegt 16 procent hierdoor enige vorm van actie te hebben ondernomen. 7 procent van de campagnekenners heeft over het taboe gesproken met personen mét een psychische aandoening en dit zijn omgerekend ruim 650.000 gesprekken. 80 procent van de Nederlanders vond de campagne duidelijk en 75 procent vond de campagne geloofwaardig. Pim Slierings, directeur SIRE: “Het was niet eenvoudig de juiste toonzetting te vinden om het onderwerp onder de aandacht te brengen. We wilden mensen duidelijk maken dat het beter is om met mensen die een psychische aandoening hebben te praten dan over hen. Door mensen die zelf met een psychische aandoening kampen, de ervaringsdeskundigen, aan het woord te laten, blijken we erin geslaagd de boodschap bij het grootste deel van de Nederlanders goed over te brengen.” Volgens 69 procent was het dan ook een relevante campagne en meer dan de helft van de Nederlanders oordeelde dat de campagne hen iets nieuws vertelde. 57 procent vond de campagne een eyeopener. |
