After two centuries of colonial tragedy the Australian aborigines are in control of their destiny. The Aboriginal Land Rights Act was a sign of political awareness which began in the 60s. From then on the local population claimed the right to own their ancestral land, nature reserves were created and were power managed by government institutions and Aboriginal tribes. This caused a profitable tourism industry to flourish. The primitive art forms fascinated the modern world.

We're living on a beautiful planet and as a human race we've been here for thousands of years. Our planet didn't need to be protected; life was flourishing on its own, with its own agenda. However for the past 100 years we've made a tremendous impact with our footprint due to the growth of world population and the industrialization of our everyday life. Economy, profit and capitalization became more important than respecting our planet and an ancient knowledge to advance a new way of life.
In this documentary Peter Vlemmix, the author of Panopticon, explores the expanding powers of the European Union. The European Union is the greatest project in modern history. It's a wonderful achievement. Europe is freedom, it means no more war, it means 500 million Europeans and 28 countries, which have one coin, and live in the healthiest and safest part of the world. Peter is proud European, he can travel without borders and he grew up in peace. And today many people see Europe as "the answer."
